in response to Bee's Knees... Hello friends. I am here desperately seeking encouragement, advice, and any available resources to help provide me with the basic needs that I can no longer afford on my own. It is incredibly difficult for me to ask for help, since I’ve been a devoted worker all of my life and have always paid my own way. That all changed when I became stricken with various health problems. My body is now broken, but I’m still the same hard-working individual from within. I’ve endured 7 heart attacks, 2 strokes, 3-way by-pass surgeries, 3 stents, and I also have a pacemaker. As a result, I’m being buried alive with medicals bills and trying to survive on only $3.00 a day. I can’t afford food, therefore don’t eat like I should, and I cannot afford to purchase of all of the heart medications I need to survive, not to mention any other modest needs required for everyday living. I haven't taken my heart medication for several months because I can't afford to have the prescription filled, and I've been eating only oatmeal and rice for the past year since that's all I can afford. I saw my Doctor recently and did not receive a good report. He told me if I don't get back on my medication and start eating better, that my heart is going to give out on me and I won't survive another attack.
I have not been able to find the financial help I need, which is why I am here making this humble plea.
